A pair of professional artists, Thea and Mick Arnold came to us wanting a portfolio style website to showcase their work in a way that would be clean and easy to navigate.

The website was to open with an introduction, complimented with music, that would then lead the user to the two individual sections. A biography and list of exhibitions were to be featured also, with the artwork remaining the focus at all times.
Clarity and simplicity were essential here as in a portfolio, it is important that the layout accentuates the featured work rather than distract from it. Our solution was a minimalist design with a limited colour palette allowing the paintings and drawings to be the most prominent elements. The work is organised into clear sections making the portfolio easy to browse and allows for regular additions.
We also composed a short piano and cello piece to accompany the introduction that reflected the feel of the website and emulated the style they wanted.
