J. Tierra
We were approached by USA based The Dobry Group to create some custom typography for their J.Tierra project. The goal was to create a clean and sophisticated script typeface to accompany an existing brandmark. A circular design with symbolic curves and strokes, it was essential to mirror the forms of this brandmark in the lettering itself.

Starting with sketches, we explored various ways in which to convey not only the look and feel of the shapes, but also the symbolic elements that the mark represented. In the final design, in addition to individual letters, the style of the brandmark is also incorporated within the script as a whole through the use of typographic elements such as stroke width and contrast.
