Phil's Boot Camp is a North East fitness training group in the town of South Shields and expanding out across the area. Owner Phil Pitt contacted us to create a website to boost his profile and image in the world of Fitness Training.

Work: Website Design, Logo Rework
The company had many potential clients asking questions on social networking websites and face to face in the area and some questions were going unanswered. For this, Phil's Boot Camp needed a clean and clear website with plenty of content. It was also important for the website to knock out all local competition; research would be our key to guarantee that Phil's Boot Camp got the style they liked while it upstaged the competitors in both professionalism and flair.
At the start of the project we were presented with the original Phil's Boot Camp logo. It featured a styled silhouette as a mark for the complimentary text below. The company felt it could use refinement in order to push their key needs of strength, passion and solidity. For this, we replaced the typeface with League Gothic for a stronger and bolder feel and reworked the silhouette, eventually placing it alongside the text so it played more even role in promoting power and passion with the typeface.
From a visual perspective, the website built upon the silhouette concept from the logo. Blacks, whites and greys were the prominent colours with touches of red as well as slightly desaturated stock imagery to avoid any garish or out of place objects in the page. Space was very important and so we provided plenty of negative space for all information to be absorbed easily in a less crowded environment.
